Yesterday she finally took a few steps with a walker- the first time her pain level was not
off the chart. She has been miserable and it breaks my heart to see her suffer so much.
Hopefully today she will be transferred to a rehab facility close to home to build up her
strength and begin a long road to recovery. I'm in therapy with a new knee and she will
be in therapy for a pinned hip- neither of us have ever experienced anything like that In
our 61 years of marriage. The good Lord has blessed us with family and friends who have
been with us all the way. At 4:15 am this morning, I heard her say "sweetie" and that is
why I'm up and going- even in my dreams she is talking to me. Will be leaving soon for
the daily trip to the hospital- keep us in your prayers as we struggle through this little
